Residential Asphalt Driveway Paving
New driveways, resurfacing and repair for homes across the Flathead Valley. Residential paving is scheduled around crew routes and project minimums, so the best results come from booking early and grouping work in the same area.
Driveways Fail at the Edges, the Grade and the Water
Most driveway problems in this valley are not asphalt problems. They are water problems — a grade that holds water, an unsupported edge that breaks back, or a base that never drained properly through freeze-thaw cycles.
The site walk looks at how water moves across and off the driveway, how the apron meets the road, whether the base can support the traffic it actually carries, and what the surrounding grade does during spring runoff.
Residential work is scheduled around commercial crew routes, so grouping neighboring projects and booking early both help. Project minimums apply.
Program Outcomes
Documented work, predictable budgets, and surfaces that stay in service.
Assess, Plan, Execute, Document
A repeatable cycle built for property managers, municipalities, and facility teams.
Site Walk
We look at grade, drainage, the existing base, the apron and how the driveway is actually used.
Scope & Options
Repair, resurface or rebuild options are written out with assumptions, exclusions and expected life.
Schedule
Work is slotted into a crew route inside the reliable temperature window, with the date confirmed in advance.
Pave & Protect
Placement, compaction and edges are completed, and you receive the timing for the first sealcoat.
Everything the Program Covers
Each service is delivered by our own crews and documented in the same reporting package.
Start with a Site Walk
We'll walk the property, scope the program, and build a plan around your budget cycle. Call for pricing — every estimate is based on the actual site, not a formula.
Program Questions
How long before I can drive on a new driveway?
Passenger vehicles are typically allowed back on after about 24 to 48 hours depending on thickness and how quickly the mat cools. Avoid parking in the same spot, sharp turning while stopped, and heavy vehicles during the first weeks while the surface fully hardens.
When can a new driveway be sealcoated?
New asphalt needs to cure before sealer is applied — generally a full season, depending on when it was placed and the weather that followed. Sealing too early traps oils in the surface. You will get the recommended timing at closeout.
Can my driveway be resurfaced instead of replaced?
If the base is sound and the distress is limited to the surface, resurfacing is often the better value. If the base is saturated, the grade holds water, or failures reach through the full depth, resurfacing only hides the problem for a season or two.
Do you have a project minimum?
Yes. Residential paving is scheduled around commercial crew routes and mobilization costs, so project minimums apply and neighboring projects scheduled together usually work out better for everyone. The site walk will confirm fit.
What time of year should a driveway be paved?
Asphalt placement depends on ambient and surface temperature, so the reliable window in the Flathead Valley generally runs from late spring through early fall. Booking earlier in the season gives the surface time to cure before winter.
What does a driveway cost?
Call for pricing. Driveway cost depends on square footage, thickness, base condition, grade and drainage work, access and haul distance. We scope it from an actual site walk rather than quoting a rate over the phone.
