    What is non-chloride dust control?

    Non-chloride dust control uses non-corrosive binding agents to lock down fine particles in unpaved surfaces. Unlike magnesium or calcium chloride products, it does not rely heavily on humidity, does not corrode equipment or vehicles, and is more resistant to wash-off during rain events.

    Where does dust control work best?

    It is well suited for unpaved roads, gravel lots, industrial yards, construction access roads, mine and quarry haul roads, energy and agricultural access roads, HOA and subdivision gravel roads, and commercial equipment yards.

    When is the best time of year to apply dust control?

    Most applications are scheduled from late spring through early fall, after the road has been freshly graded and while surface moisture is adequate for product penetration. Early-season applications typically deliver the longest seasonal benefit, with mid-season touch-ups scheduled based on traffic and weather. We coordinate timing around your grading cycle and operations calendar.

    How long does an application last?

    Longevity depends on traffic volume, aggregate type, weather, and application rate. Most applications are designed to reduce grading frequency and dust generation for an extended portion of the season, with reapplication scheduled based on observed performance.

    What weather conditions are required for application?

    We apply on graded surfaces with adequate surface moisture and stable weather. We avoid application during active rain, immediately before forecasted heavy rain, freezing temperatures, or extreme wind. Mild temperatures and light surface moisture allow the product to penetrate, bind fines, and cure properly. If conditions shift, we reschedule rather than risk product wash-off or poor penetration.
